"Castlegate House Gallery is situated on the ground floor of a splendid and untouched Grade II* listed 18th Century Georgian house in the centre of the thriving Lakeland town of Cockermouth.
Having recently taken over the reins of Castlegate, we’re nothing if not passionate about 20th century and contemporary British art, fuelled by many years of obsessive art collecting. Our aim is to fuel that passion in others and exhibit only what we can genuinely be enthusiastic and passionate about."
