Beakers and Blooms....

Beakers and blooms...... The beakers are my everyday drinking vessels that I make alot of. They are versatile and I keep the at a price that is affordable for a handmade object. Whether its a long black coffee, a cold beer or a quick swig of water, they're a great vessel for whatever takes your fancy.

£15.00 + P&P

Please message me for more details.

The flowers are some of the last of the year from the garden....some a clinging on before the first of the proper frosts come.

Art in Clay 2016

Here are a few images from my stand at this years Art in Clay fair at Hatfield House.
Lots of pots were sold, but some of these are still available if anything takes your fancy. Please message me or comment if so.
Thanks to everybody who visited and came and said hello and took pots home with them.

It was great to catch up with friends and meet new customers. I especially enjoyed hearing about how much people enjoy using my pots in their every day life, very satisfying!

Now time to get back on the wheel and replenish stocks for the next shows that are coming up over the next couple of months.

The 'Pocket Rocket'

I fired a new experimental kiln this week. It turned out to be a good firing. Cone 10 was flat and glazed on one shelf and Cone 9 down on another set of cones. I introduced salt and soda whilst firing the kiln with gas and wood. It is only a small test kiln so I have called it my 'Pocket Rocket'

Some of the pots will be with me at the shows over the next couple of months.

Potfest in the Pens, Penrith. August
Art in Clay, Hatfield. August
Pots and Food, Wardlow. September
Ceramics in the City, London. September
