My new Work-Shop........No:13 Broad Street, Penryn, Cornwall

So, ten days ago I took hold of the keys to No:13 Broard Street, Penryn. After some hours with a chop saw, drill, screws and a pen and paper the Work-Shop is pretty much as I want it to be.
I am so pleased with the reaction from everybody who has been in and really happy to have had some promising sales and commissions. I have set the place up so I will be making in the shop as well as selling, so it definitely is a WORK-SHOP. Happy days ahead!!!!

I will be at the Work-Shop as much as possible and when I am there the door will be open and everybody is welcome to come in and have a look at the pots, have a chat and have a look at the process of making the work and maybe buy some pieces from me directly.

Thanks for looking and hope to see you at the Work-Shop soon.

Belgrave Summer Show opening, Saturday 13th July

Enjoyed a fun couple of hours at the Belgrave Gallery, St Ives on Saturday evening.
Very pleased to see my pots in a great little corner in the Gallery. It was also enjoyable to see a wide range of different work in the show as well.
Take a look at their Blog for more image and info.

The Belgrave, St.ives, Summer Show

I will be showing some new work at the Summer Show at the Belgrave Gallery in St.Ives. Looking forward to seeing the work in such a great gallery.

From an Australian Aboriginal carved wooden shield to Peter Freeman's neon light sculptures, Roger Hilton's acerbic drawings of the female nude to Alice Mumford's jewel-like still life paintings, the Summer Exhibition at Belgrave St Ives promises to be a rich and varied experience. The exhibition encompasses the work of more than 50 artists, including 'The Square Yard' - an installation by Graham Rich, an exhibition of Tribal Art, and an installation of monoprints by Jeremy Gardiner (including promotion of a recent book on the artist).

As well as Roger Hilton, the show includes Modern St Ives works by Anthony Benjamin, W. Barns-Graham, Sven Berlin, Tom Cross, Bob Crossley, Terry Frost, Patrick Hayman, Peter Lanyon, Michael Snow and John Wells.

Contemporary artists include Nicky Basford, Virginia Bounds, John Charles Clark, Maurice Cockrill, Roy Conn, Jessica Cooper, Henrietta Dubrey, John Emanuel, Anthony Frost, Marie-Claire Hamon, Andy Hughes, Kurt Jackson, Jeremy Kidd, Tim Lake, Jason Lilley, Ffiona Lewis, Felicity Mara, Michael Marten, Christopher Marvell, Frank Phelan, Sarah Poland, Jenny Ryrie, Eric Ward and Phil Whiting. Works will also available by: Mike Becket, Jane Macmiadhachain, Kate Nicholson, Brian Rice and Amanda Wallwork.

Last days of 'Clay and Lime'

Joe Morris and myself are at the Poly in Falmouth again for another show together.
We are showing new work after our successful show at the same venue in January of this year.
